Harness manufacturing documentation

Hi all,

I'm designing the wire harness of a Formula Student car in Creo Cabling (using the Ninja Technique of Brian Martin).

I'm wondering what is the best way to create a manufacturing documentation of the harness? That would include:

  • a wire list (all wire lengths and the type of wire, end connectors and pins in a table form), and
  • a flattened harness drawing (annotated with the lengths of the bundled common sections and ideally with the drawings of the connectors, printed at the connectors which wire ends at each pin).

The aim is to be able to manufacture the whole harness on the table.

Any help from Creo on that one? Or can I export it from Creo to another program to do all this?

Thanks a lot,

László Treszkai
